I can see!

For the first time in years, I can see clearly in the distance again!

I went to the eye doctor the other day, after having used my two pairs of glasses with missing nose pads for several years. I knew that my eyesight had gotten worse, since I squint all the time even with glasses. I think it's given me slight wrinkles under my eyes... T_T

So anyway, he gave me a sample pair of contacts to get used to, since I haven't worn them in a long time and my prescription has changed. I put them in and wow... I almost cried. Everything is so very sharp and crisp! I can see so much now, and it makes me a happier person. No more squinting and headaches, for now.

Also, instead of buying glasses for $200-$600, I ordered three pair from:
Zenni Optical

I've heard good things, but I'll have to wait roughly two weeks to find out myself. Either way, three pairs for only just over $100? I don't need name brand--I just need to see!

D: I wish I'd known you were around for a while!
The character creation is really great, and some of the class stuff was fun, but the world is seriously lacking in role-play options. Not that there aren't quite a bit of role-players around and a nifty forum catering to them, but beyond the character appearances, the game doesn't make me feel so immersed.

Yah! I totally loved the char-gen as well. And the classes are pretty interesting, but once I realized it was just me on my lonesome, and fifty million spammers, I started to get bored of the game play :/ Gotta admit the wings are fun. Gliding is infinitely cooler than WoW flying!
