Just got into LoL a little while ago and I've been spending a lot of time browsing fanart. This is easily one of the best pieces. It's amazing how the fans really make the characters come to life when the actual game gives us nothing more than a one page blurb of a background on them. I love this incarnation of MF. It's a shame we'll probably never get a campaign mode or something to let the characters grow and match up with the backgrounds the fans are giving them with art like this.

I'm glad you enjoy it. I don't know what RIOT has in mind for the future of LoL, but I doubt it's anything so intricate. Most likely, we'll see loads more character releases and perhaps some new maps. At least there will be a graphics update--that's something to look forward to!

Yeah, it's a shame really. I think there's a lot of wasted potential in their character designs. It wouldn't even be all that difficult to set up something like that, but it's probably not worth the effort for them to put it out and have players eat it up in a day. I'd totally play an rpg with MF as the protagonist.
